The MARQuIS team welcomes all readers to this fourth issue of the MARQuIS newsletter. Due to the coming summer period this newsletter for once is issued earlier than the usual three months interval. This newsletter provides a short overview of the main developments in the project with links to more information on the MARQuIS website.

MARQuIS presentation at ISQua Conference, 23 October 2006

The MARQuIS project will present it’s status of activities at the 23rd ISQua Conference in London which is held from 22 to 25 October 2006. The presentation on the MARQuIS project will take place on the 23rd of October 2006 and will highlight the results of the work packages finished so far. More information…

Final deadline MARQuIS Questionnaire: 1st of July 2006

Around 70 % of the more than 500 participating hospitals have responded to the MARQuIS Questionnaire so far. By extending the deadline till the 1st of July we hope this response rate will increase even further. More information....

Practical information on the MARQuIS Questionnaire

For the participating hospitals, please note that all the data entered and saved into the questionnaire are automatically added to the marquis database. In other words, entering and saving the data means that you have submitted the data. You will not receive a confirmation message. More information....

Next step in the project: on-site hospital visits

The results of the MARQuIS Questionnaire are input for the next phase in the project: the on-site hospital visit. The aim of these hospital visits is to obtain more detailed information on the data provided in the MARQuIS Questionnaire. The hospital visits will start after the training for auditors on 9-10 November. More information…

29 September: meeting of the project partners and the Advisory Council in Brussels

8 November: second MARQuIS Project Conference for project partners to discuss the results of the project so far and the future steps to be taken

Virtual MARQuIS Network

At the same time of the launch of the Questionnaire, the Virtual MARQuIS Netwrok was launched at www.marquis.be/hospitals. This is a protected website where the participating hospitals can meet and discuss. After logging in hospitals can discuss topics, share files and search for other hospitals. More information…
