Aim of the Virtual Network
The aim of the Virtual MARQuIS Network is to provide the hospitals that participate in the research project a medium where they can meet and discuss among themselves.
The vitrtual network is a protected area. Only those hospitals participating in the project have access to this network.
Content of the Virtual Network
The Virtual MARQuIS Network offers the hospitals several possibilities:
'Members search' enables hospitals to search for other hospitals' contact details by email address or hospital name.
'Files area' contains information from the MARQuIS consortium and an area where the hospitals can put their own files that they want to share with other hospitals in the Network.
'News' provides an overview of relevant news for hospitals in relation to the MARQuIS project.
'Hospital Forum' enables hospitals to start a discussion with the other participating hospitals on a topic they feel relevant.
'Subject of debate' is an area where the MARQuIS consortium will present a topic for discussion.
Use of the Virtual Network
The Virtual MARQuIS Network offers an opportunity to the hospitals participating in the project to share their experiences and learn from each other. In this way the Virtual Network possesses the potential to generate a true European Network of hospitals for quality.
It is up to the participating hospitals though to create this network and make it work. The MARQuIS consortium encourages all hospitals to make optimal use of this Virtual Network.
